Kitchen Installation in Mansfield Woodhouse

This project was based in Mansfield Woodhouse, I got a phone call to quote for removing an internal wall and install a new kitchen. This customer turned out to be the daughter of my bike license instructor, her mum told her about all the work we undertake as she had a few other quotes but they couldn’t undertake all the work.

After many visits to discuss plans and a lot of ideas the customer had we decided on what to do best to make her kitchen and dinning room into one kitchen and to separate the lounge from the dinning room. I got my kitchen designer to come over and design a kitchen to her spec and the outcome was lovely.

We started by blocking the internal between the dinning room and lounge and install a new entrance door to the lounge from the hall way up, we then removed the wall between the dinning room and kitchen installing a steel beam and removed the ground floor chimney breast also installing a steel beam to create one big space. The window in the dinning room was removed aswell as the brick work to make way for a two section bifold. Once the electrics and plumbing where installed we then had all the walls and ceiling re plastered.

The kitchen was then installed along with internal doors, once the kitchen was complete we had underfloor heating installed finished off with tiling the floor and fitting skirting boards.
